Currently, Don is the Professor of Theatre and Department Chair at Oklahoma City Community College.


Prior to accepting this position for the Fall of 2019, he spent six and a half years in Milwaukee, WI where he was a Founding Member of Cooperative Performance, a performance company which seeks to create new and innovative works. He served on their Board of Directors for seven years, having spent four years as the Board Chair prior to moving to Oklahoma. Through Cooperative Performance Don has had many opportunities to explore various facets of performance including movement, shadow puppetry and re-envisioning classic theatrical works.

Before moving to Milwaukee, Don spent nearly three years in Columbia, SC earning his MFA in Acting at the University of South Carolina. During his time there, he had the privilege of working and studying extensively with Master Teachers Robyn Hunt and Steve Pearson, Artistic Directors of the Pacific Performance Project/East and is now  a member of Hunt and Pearson's P3 Studio.  www.p3east.com

Up until his acceptance at USC, Don had spent six years in Los Angeles, CA during which time he continued working on his craft, exploring film and television, and earning his MA in Theatre from California State University, Northridge. He also spent a year studying stage combat under Sword Masters Dan Speaker and Jan Bryant at the Academy of Theatrical Combat.
